Boiling Point is my go to whenever I'm craving for something hot and soupy. It was my first time dining at this BP location since they moved here. Their parking lot is pretty small. We were lucky and took the last spot available otherwise we would've had to do street parking. Wait time wasn't too bad considering we came on a Saturday night. We arrived around 5:40 pm and got seated around 6 pm. We ordered 3 bowls to split between 4 people. My go to is the beef bowl. I ordered it mild this time and it was pretty spicy. I think I'll stick with no spicy from now on. I feel like their mild differs every time. Sometimes it really is mild, other times it tastes like my tongue is on fire. We also upgraded the rice to the beef rice which I don't think was worth it.

We've been coming here every other week and somehow haven't written a review until now. So here it goes. First off, the food is always bussin--seriously, it's never missed. We always hit up Boiling Point during lunch hours (open-3pm) because free drinks (green tea or black tea) are the real MVP. We both get the beef pot (mild). One of us is a scallion rice fan (10/10) and the other is all about the vermicelli (10/10). The vermicelli starts out dry,but don't worry--it's like a fun little science experiment because you cook it yourself in the pot. It's like DIY dinner! We are not ashamed to say we ALWAYS ask for more soup. Like, who doesn't want more of that liquid gold? 4 stars only because sometimes you feel a bit rushed to finish your food. Parking kind of sucks but there's street parking and the parking lot is small.

honestly, boiling point is so real for this because if it's your birthday you get free hot soup and drink of your choice, for your birthday (must show id btw). for my birthday meal, i once again, i get my usual, the curry hotpot because it always does it for me. service: i feel like it got better from the last time ive been! & on a friday night around 8-9, i waited for about 20 minutes. ambiance: lively, and crowded lowkey, but enough room to eat freely.

Came into town in San Gabriel California visiting sister and came here having hot pot. It's very delicious and it has a lot of flavor. It's a good portion it come with rice or noodles. It has beef imitation crab, mushroom, clear noodles a little on the bottom, corn, tomatoes. Services was good as well not all of the waiter and waitress speaks good English. Just a plain restaurant no pictures on wall or no tv as well. It's so plain inside.Would come back.

My friend and I came here on a Saturday night during dinner time and the wait was around an hour, which apparently isn't bad as I heard it can be even longer. We parked on a residential street near the restaurant, as the small parking lot next to BP was full. This BP used to be located in a larger location with more parking, but this is my first time at this new location. I do prefer the previous location more. I got the beef soup with rice with medium spice. It was nice, not too spicy but had a kick. The food quality at this BP is similar to most other BPs, so I was satisfied with my dish. Their sauces are always a hit with me, I feel like they really elevate the dish. I like coming to BP for a casual lunch/dinner spot, but I'm not sure if I would come back to this location given the limited parking and indoor seating. There's other BP locations around the area that is bigger and the food quality at all these locations are pretty much the same.

i've been to several boiling point locations around the SGV, and this one by far has the shortest wait times (especially compared to arcadia). that being said, this location is rated 3 stars for a reason. a quick glance reveals a majority of the low ratings are related to service - i'm here to say that my experience falls under a similar theme. we were quick to be seated (on a saturday night close to christmas), but had to wait long to be served. perhaps it was because it was the end of the night, but we had to remind our waiters multiple times for water and more soup. other than that, the food was delicious and portions were generous! the restaurant inside is kept quite chilly due to the nature of eating hot pot, so be sure to bring a jacket if you run cold.

I love boiling point so so so much! everytime I come I always order the milk cream curry and it always hits. if u r a fan of curry I highly reccomed. it comes with a good portion of meat, side of rice/noodles (I usually get rice), green breeds, fish balls, cabbage, noodles, potato slices and fish cakes! I'm usually picky about the meat but the quality of meat was pretty good. it wasn't too fatty, and was pretty tender! the vermicelli in the soup always hits too. after u finish eating they give u lime/passion fruit jelly and its sooo scrumptious!! I would usually rate this a 5 stars but I was missing a I BP fishcake and I feel like it didn't hit as hard this time still good tho $$$- a little bit pricey but very filling, can be shared with 2! - service (always coming around to refill broth, and is quick to serve u) seating, kinda crowded was like a 20 min wait

Taiwanese style hotpot. The individually bubbling hot pot comes in a mini wok that's already cooked and pre-assembled, it's placed on a portable burner so it remains HOT! Nice presentation. You choose from the 10 variety of soup flavors on the menu from Taiwanese spicy to Korean Bean Paste to Thai Tomato. Pick your level of spice. I like medium hot with the option to add more spice - The Sauce dispenser can be found at each table. The Only downside: No substituting of ingredients allowed; but you can ADD extra ingredients (for additional charge). Complimentary iced teas are a nice gesture. Get here early for lunch or dinner service. This place always has a line and gets packed.

Dined in on 09/21/24 for the boiling point anniversary. There was a long wait, but we came early to be one of the first ones seated. I ordered the #1 boiling point, House Special mild with rice. The soup was great, but my only complaint was the meat was bundled up and just a little bit cold. Maybe it was still frozen and wasn't thawed properly? Besides that everything was good! Service was quick. Not sure why this place is downvoted.

I hit up Boiling Point SG three days in a row to get the 20th anniversary BOGO voucher deal (which is eligible for redemption starting 10/01/24!) Lamb 4.5/5 My fav so far! I like lamb in general and enjoy the pickled mustard greens inside the broth. Don't forget to eat the vermicelli before they start to overcook! Seafood and Tofu 4.5/5 Second fav. The seafood makes the broth very flavorful and the tofu was better than I thought. I do think that if you have the spice tolerance, you can make this broth more spicy (I got hot level) cuz this is a lighter pot so having the spiciness can bring more flavor. Thai Tomato Soup 2.5/5 This one didn't hit as well as the others. The ingredients were fine but I didn't enjoy this broth personally. I usually like tomatoes broths but this one has a flavor to it that I can't quite identify. The menu noted that this includes coconut milk which I couldn't taste or tell. It was a really busy weekend for boiling point as everyone was coming in for the deals. So understandable that service can feel a bit rushed and there were some mistaken orders. They also run out of rice one evening (NOT THE RICE!!) But overall, staff was very willing to set things right when possible which is much appreciated!
